There was a time I thought I had missed my chance. 

I didn’t grow up on a ranch. I didn’t have ponies in the backyard or ribbons from childhood shows. In fact, I didn’t really begin my horse journey until adulthood—after a career, after a child, after life had already demanded a thousand other things from me.

But the dream never left.

I spent all of my 20’s ignoring the call of the horse life. Once I moved to Montana via the military, my future with horses gained traction. I started manifesting my “cowboy” to get immersed in the western culture. Little did I know that I didn't need a cowboy to get started with my horse life, I needed myself and like-minded horsewomen to get my start. 

If you’re here, maybe it hasn’t left you either.

Maybe you’ve caught yourself scrolling through horse TikTok or stopping to watch riders in a pasture longer than you’d care to admit. Do you call out “look, horses.” in the car or remember directions based on the properties with horses?  Maybe you’re starting from scratch, or maybe you’re coming back to horses after years away.
